Aussies can catch a flight out of Sydney or Melbourne to Bali Denpasar for $599 return, while those travelling from Adelaide or the Gold Coast can nab flights from $399 return.

For those keen to explore Fiji, there are flights from Brisbane from $499 return, Sydney from $519 return and Melbourne from $579 return.

Aussies can also get return flights from Brisbane to Samoa from $559 return, or Vanuatu from $569 return.

For those keen to head across the ditch, there are flights to Queenstown from Melbourne from $425 return, as well as Sydney from $465 return.

All fares include Velocity frequent flyer points and status credits.

Baggage tracking

It comes as Virgin becomes the first Aussie airline to roll out a baggage-tracking tool.

Domestic travellers are now able to track the status of their checked baggage - via the Virgin Australia app - for almost 70 per cent of the airline’s domestic flights.

Travellers will be able to see their baggage has been transferred to an international partner airline, and when it is available for collection at the final destination.

The service will be available on most major domestic routes, including Sydney to Melbourne, Brisbane to Sydney and Melbourne to the Gold Coast, and will soon be available on select flights from Perth.
