Inside the $50 million Sydney property with a private beach
One of Australia’s “most magnificent deep waterfront properties” has hit the Sydney market, with a $50 million price tag attached.
Located in Avalon Beach in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, the luxurious property sits at the tip of Stokes Point and offers waterfront views across Pittwater, towards Palm Beach and Lion Island.

Named ‘Celeste’, the property at 6 Cabarita Road, spans three-levels and 1,631 square metres and includes six bedrooms, seven bathrooms and eight car spaces.
The listing describes the north-facing property as “a unique experience”, “a treasure” and “showcase of the exceptional visions and abilities of mankind”.
In addition to its waterfront views, the property also boasts a 20-metre infinity pool, a sauna, moat and koi pond, as well as a private beachfront, jetty and boathouse. There’s also a large outdoor terrace area.
Inside the house, you can enjoy double-height ceilings and glass windows to take in the views. Features also include an entertaining area with a games room and wet bar, a media room and home office, and a gourmet kitchen with walnut cabinetry and sub-zero fridges. There’s also an internal lift to all three levels and a gated entrance at street level.
“Celeste is the perfect residence to live out an extraordinary life,” the listing reads.
The property was originally built in 2011 and was last sold in September 2017 to property developer Robert Yazbek and his partner Annette Yazbek. The couple paid just under $13 million for the property.
It has since undergone a redesign by Burton Architecture, which was completed in 2021 and reportedly cost more than $30 million.
According to the Australian Financial Review, the property has an estimated asking price of $50 million. If this is met, it would almost double the current Northern Beaches record of $27.5 million.
