The luxury $10.3 million Aussie beach house that could be yours for $5

·2-min read

Owning a beachfront home is a dream held by many Australians and it could become a reality for one person for as little as the price of a large coffee.

A luxurious mansion valued at over $10.3 million is the prize in the RSL Art Union's most recent raffle. The best part? Tickets cost just $5.

As well as the home, which is located in Currumbin on the Gold Coast, the winner will also receive over $300,000 worth of furniture and appliances.

"Imagine coming home to your own luxury beachfront paradise, just metres from the water's edge," the RSL Art Union said.

"With uninterrupted ocean views, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a swimming pool and $322,594 worth of furniture and appliances, this breathtaking Currumbin prize home has it all."

The three-storey home features four bedrooms and a pool, which sits next to an outdoor entertaining area. A balcony above offers ocean views so residents can watch the ocean waves roll in.

On the ground floor is a living area overlooking the outdoor entertaining area, a laundry, dining area and the kitchen, which is fitted with a butler's pantry.

On the first floor are three bedrooms — each with a robe, a bathroom, an upstairs living area and a study nook.

The top floor is solely for the master bedroom, which has both an ensuite and walk-in wardrobe. The balcony can only be accessed through the master bedroom.

The total prize is actually valued at $10.6 million.

In addition to the home and the furniture, there's also a security system valued at over $5000. Rates and water fees are paid for the first 12 months, as is the legal transfer fees.

The winner will also receive a $2000 travel voucher.

There are limited tickets available for Draw 399. One ticket will set you back just $5, though people can also purchase tickets in bundles.

The money raised will go to help RSL Queensland support veterans in the state and fund programs for veterans throughout Australia.
