If you're itching for a getaway, Qantas has just dropped a huge international flight sale on more than 40 routes across the world.

The sale includes economy and business-class fares to New Zealand, India, Hong Kong, Samoa, South Korea and more, with economy fares starting from just $549 return.

But you’ll need to get in quick, with the sale only running until midnight on Monday, July 10, unless sold out prior.

Deals include return economy flights from Melbourne to Queenstown for $549, Delhi from $949, and Hong Kong from $979 return.

Sydneysiders can escape to the New Caledonia capital of Noumea from $549, Tonga from $599 and Bangalore from $929 return.

Meanwhile, Brisbanites can grab a cheap deal to Auckland from $549, Delhi from $949 or Seoul from $1,029 return.

Qantas’s Red Tail Sale applies to selected travel dates and will depend on your chosen route, but include dates ranging from July 2023 to March 2024.

Win a holiday for life

Customers who book accommodation through Qantas Hotels or Holidays by July 31, will also go in the running to win 1 million Qantas Points for the next 20 years, and enjoy a holiday for life.

Frequent flyers can triple their chance of winning by using Qantas Points or Points Plus pay when they are making their booking.

“This is one of the biggest prizes Qantas Frequent Flyer has ever offered its members,” a Qantas spokesperson said.

“One million Qantas Points every year could mean one extravagant annual holiday or multiple trips away each year for the lucky winner and their family.”

A million points could get you two first-class return tickets from Sydney to London, four business-class tickets from Melbourne to LA, or a whopping 62 economy-class return flights between Melbourne and Sydney.
