Qantas drops massive North America flight sale from $999

Aussies can grab a deal on flights to LA, New York, Honolulu and more.

Qantas has dropped a massive North America sale, with more than a million bargain airfares on offer across the region.

The Aussie airline’s North America Red Tail Sale is running now until midnight on Monday, June 26, with discounted fares on offer to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, New York, Vancouver and Honolulu.

Deals include Melbourne to Honolulu from $999 return, Sydney to Los Angeles from $1,199 return, Brisbane to San Francisco from $1,299 return, and Adelaide to Vancouver from $1,599.

The offers apply to select travel dates between July 2023 and March 2024, depending on the chosen route.

Here’s a look at some of the highlights for return economy fares:

  • Melbourne to Honolulu from $999

  • Melbourne to Los Angeles from $1,199

  • Melbourne to San Francisco from $1,299

  • Melbourne to Vancouver from $1,399

  • Melbourne to New York (JFK) from $1,799

  • Sydney to Honolulu from $999

  • Sydney to Los Angeles from $1,199

  • Sydney to San Francisco from $1,299

  • Sydney to Vancouver from $1,399

  • Sydney to New York (JFK) from $1,799

  • Brisbane to Honolulu from $999

  • Brisbane to Los Angeles from $1,499

  • Brisbane to San Francisco from $1,299

  • Brisbane to Vancouver from $1,399

  • Brisbane to New York (JFK) from $1,799

Domestic deals

If you’re looking for an adventure closer to home, Qantas has also released sale airfares for a range of domestic destinations.

Deals include Sydney to Ballina (Byron) from $99 one way, and to the Gold Coast (Coolangatta) from $109 one way.

Meanwhile, those in Melbourne can nab a deal to Launceston from $99 one way, or Hobart from $125 one way.

The domestic sale is running now until midnight on Friday, June 30, unless sold out prior. It covers travel periods from August 2023 to March 2024.
