Jetstar is flogging $200 return tickets to Bali
If the winter cold is proving too much for you, Jetstar has given you the perfect out.
Through Flight Centre, the low-budget carrier is serving up tickets to Bali that will get you there – and back – cheaply and quickly, with prices starting as low as $200 if you’re flying from Darwin.
But if you don’t fancy taking off from the Northern Territory, you can get there for $229 from Perth, or $356 from Brisbane.
Melbourne to Bali will set you back $372, while Sydneysiders will pay $396.
Even though the tickets to Bali from Australia’s two biggest capital cities are nearly double that of those departing from Darwin, $396 for return flights to Indonesia’s most popular city is still a great deal.
When you compare Jetstar’s fares to those on competing airlines, the cheapest deal is $423 return with Singaporean air carrier Scoot if you’re flying between 18 September and 22 September.
All of Jetstar’s flights are direct, so you won’t need to face the prospect of any droll layovers.

Travel dates stretch between August 2019 and June 2020, though Finder recommends visiting Bali between April and June or September and October.
The sale ends midnight on 22 July.
As with all Jetstar flights, you’ll need to pay for the trimmings such as checked luggage, food, and in-flight entertainment.
