Inside sprawling Byron estate that caught Margot Robbie’s eye
Margot Robbie is in Australia looking for a new place to call home.
Margot Robbie has taken Hollywood by storm, but it seems she might be looking for a quieter life when she’s not on the big screen.
The Aussie actress has been in Australia scoping our real estate and it seems she has taken a leaf out of Chris Hemsworth’s book, looking at properties in the Byron Bay area, on the NSW north coast.

The Barbie actress was spotted taking a look at the ‘Cedar Hill’ home in Newrybar - around 10km south of Byron Bay itself.
The sprawling eight bedroom, eight-bathroom estate is described as a “Malibu Aspen Love Child” on the listing.
“The perfect property is a place where calmness calls, fusing relaxed luxury with picturesque tranquillity,” the listing says.
“Such a rare destination does indeed exist with ‘Cedar Hill’. Revered as one of Australia's most beautiful homes and boasting lush hinterland and ocean views, it is a spectacular showcase of international design and unique architecture.”
Sitting on more than two hectares, the home actually sprawls over three residences, two of which are linked by a glass-lined walkway. The third is a small guest house with two bedrooms, one bathroom, combined living/dining area, laundry, carport and alfresco deck.
“Cocooned within five acres of absolute peace and paradise, two sprawling premium hardwood residences rise up from this elevated, northeast-facing estate,” the listing says.
One of the residences holds the bedrooms, while the other is described as a “living barn”, which features a grand-scale kitchen, living and dining areas, plus a media room with a bar overlooking the infinity pool.
“Whether you're saluting the sun with morning yoga, keeping cool in the supersized mineral pool or soaking up superb views from the spa, you'll feel blissfully rejuvenated,” the listing says.
