The proclamation, signed by Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker, reads, in part, that "UL Solutions was founded in the city of Chicago in 1894 and for 130 years has worked for a safer world through its vast testing, inspection and certification operations."
The proclamation also recognizes that the company serves "as a trusted science-based safety, security and sustainability partner" to customers around the world.
