Located near Barnstaple, Devon in the UK, the four-bedroom 18th century castle, named Tawstock Manor, sprawls on 3.4-hectares of land, and is surrounded by a moat-shaped driveway.
While the castle is gothic-looking on the outside, the interior looks just like any other family home.
Two of the bedrooms are in the main tower, which means you could literally throw your hair out the window and pretend to be Rapunzal if you felt like it.
According to the listing, it’s set rurally to enjoy tranquil surroundings, but it’s also close to the regional centre of Barnstaple, so you can pop over to the movies, play some gold, or suss out Pannier Market - which was voted one of the top ten food markets in Britain.
If $2.2 million is a little too much to splurge, keep in mind the castle is available for rent for around $1,832 per week - but it’s already booked out until January 2021.
Be quick - Stags Barnstaple is only accepting bids until noon, on Friday 30th August.
