Aldi sells cheap Christmas treats in October
Aldi Australia will be selling a range of Christmas treats on Wednesday – the first week of October – for bargain-hunters willing to plan in advance.
The festive foods include cranberries, fruit mince pies, candy canes and even champagne.
The specials are on sale separate to Aldi's usual twice-weekly Special Buys, which can see queues form outside stores before opening on Wednesday and Saturday mornings.
The supermarket's website unironically states "It’s never too early to start thinking about Christmas" and promises further festive products to be released as the weeks roll on.
Here are the pick of the treats on sale this Wednesday October 2:
Monsigny Premier Cru champagne non-vintage 750mL: $29.99
Chocolate coated almonds 310g, peanuts 330g or sultanas 380g: $4.99
Whole cranberries 400g: $4.49
Candy canes 30-pack 225g: $1.99
Walkers shortbread triangles 150g: $3.49
Traditional fruit mince pies 6-pack 360g: $2.99
Stollen bites chocolate or traditional: $4.99
Milk chocolate coins, balls, Santas and Snowmen with crémé filling 150g: $1.99
