Aldi fans will know the German supermarket giant puts its Special Buys sales on a Wednesday and Saturday, but this week something has changed.

With Christmas Day falling on a Wednesday, Aldi has changed its Special Buys sale day to Tuesday 24 December to allow shoppers to purchase last-minute gifts.

This week, camping gear has been reduced massively, with a four-person tent on sale of $99.99.

The tent is waterproofed, with heat-sealed seams and ultra-fine insect-resistant mesh.

Aldi is also selling a two-fold camp table for $29.99 and Monopoly Millionaire for just $24.99.

If your significant other has a TV on their Christmas wish-list, you might want to wait until Saturday December 28.

Aldi will be flogging a 75-inch 4K Ultra HD Smart TV for $999 on its Saturday Special Buys, as well as BBQ food to stock you up for the summer holiday.
