Revealed: How much Aussies get for 13 popular Airtasker jobs
The end of NSW’s 107-day lockdown has seen a resurgence in demand for builders, entertainers and business experts, according to the latest data from gig economy platform Airtasker.
Between June and September, Taskers with construction and trade skills have seen a 20 per cent increase in demand for their service, while finance, business and legal advice experts are now 60 per cent more popular.
Aussie business owners are also looking for help with graphic design (up 15.7 per cent from May 2020), social media support (up 45 per cent from May 2020).

And as the silly season approaches, people with in-person events experience are also in high demand, up 66 per cent from June. This includes workers with catering, performance, serving and cocktail experience.
Here’s how much Taskers can get for 13 of the jobs seeing the fastest growth in demand:
Concreting: average task price of $1,083
Fencing: average task price of $896
Building: average task price of $819
Landscaping: average task price of $782
Demolition: average task price of $756
Painting: average task price of $560
Finance, business and legal advice experts: average task price of $308
Arts and musical performance: average task price of $270
Security guards: average task price of $230
Videographer and photographer services: average task price of $227
Bar and catering staff: average task price of $190
Gardening/Lawn Mowing: average task price of $174
Survey/Marketing/Internet Research/ Data Collection: average task price of $113
Airtasker is also offering $200 bonus payments to 150 NSW Taskers.
To receive the bonus payments, people need to either create an account or revive an account that they haven’t used in 12 months.
Additionally, they need to carry out five, ‘genuine’ and in-person tasks with five different customers, and they all need to be worth at least $100. The tasks need to be carried out between 18 October and 15 November.
