KRYSTEN PEEK: The brackets are set. I'm Krysten Peek here to give you a quick bracket breakdown. Let's take a look at the Midwest Region where Illinois got the number one spot and have made the tournament for the first time since 2013. Point guard Ayo Dosunmu is playing better than any guard in the country right now averaging 19 points and nearly six assists since returning from a broken nose injury. A possible Ayo-Cade Cunningham match-up is something we all want to see in the Sweet 16 with Illinois potentially facing off with number four Oklahoma State.

The upset to watch in the first round is number 11 Syracuse over number six San Diego State. Junior Buddy Boeheim had 31 points his last game and has put up 19 3's in his last four games. I think Illinois makes it out of this region, but not without a fair share of close games, and they match up very well with number two Houston who they won't see until the Elite Eight.
