JetBlue set to report earnings ahead of Tuesday opening

Yahoo Finance Live's Rachelle Akuffo looks at JetBlue Airline's stock ahead of its earnings report due out tomorrow.

Video transcript

RACHELLE AKUFFO: And as we stay with the earnings parade, the stock to watch for tomorrow, JetBlue. Now, the airline is reporting earnings ahead of the open and on the heels of its victory in the battle to acquire Spirit Airlines for nearly $4 billion.

Now, of course, it still needs to win over antitrust regulators. But JetBlue expected to report an earnings loss of $0.11 per share on revenue of $2.46 billion, which are both much higher than a year ago, as the industry still faces headwinds from the COVID pandemic. Shares right now in afterhours trading just up about just less than a percent. Well, be sure to tune in tomorrow right here at 4:00 PM Eastern. Our very own Brian Sozzi will be speaking to the CEO of JetBlue, Robin Hayes. And you don't want to miss that.
