DJI Osmo Action 3 review: Far more battery life, fast charging and a spiffy new mount

After experimenting with a modular design on the Action 2, DJI has gone back to a more traditional design with the Osmo Action 3. The new camera addresses issues like overheating with the last model, while introducing some key new features that trump its chief rival, GoPro’s Hero 10. The new “Extreme Battery” lasts up to 160 minutes and is the first fast-charging action camera battery, letting you charge to 80 percent in just 18 minutes. It also has a handy new magnetic mount system that works with or without the case. However, it offers the same video specs and still lags behind the GoPro Hero 10 in terms of stabilization and video quality.
