BRIAN SOZZI: All right Dave & Buster's, speaking of games, we're watching those-- that stock this morning after the company posted a revenue beat in the third quarter, but posted slowing quarter-to-date trends that analysts are citing as a potential overhang for the stock. Pretty good quarter for this company. But again, it looks like the quarter started off on a slow note for Dave & Buster's.

BRAD SMITH: Well, yeah, comparable to 2021.

[CLOCK TICKING]

But then you look back to 2020-- or 2019 and some of the year over three, at this point, now comps, are actually pretty strong, at least on the foot traffic front, beginning of this current quarter. And so we'll see where that locks in. But again, investors are really gonna have to look at this environment for Dave & Busters and see where they're able to get people back into that experience.

BRIAN SOZZI: But what is interesting, they said in the conference call, it looks like they're no longer focusing on kids. There is now a brand pivot underway at Dave & Buster's to focus on 21 to 39-year-olds. A big pivot for this company. They're gonna put a lot more marketing behind that going into next year.

JULIE HYMAN: I guess we're not going to Dave & Busters anymore.

BRIAN SOZZI: No more kids. We don't want that kids because we want you to come here.

JULIE HYMAN: No, I'm saying-- I'm saying, you and I are--

BRIAN SOZZI: That's not very-- that's not--

[BUZZER]

That's not nice. That's just not-- no.

[LAUGHTER]

I'm going there. I don't care what that age group. Oh, that is awful.
