Since the launch, ChatGPT has reached over 100 million users, quickly becoming the fastest growing app in history. Andrew Patel, an artificial intelligence researcher explains GPT stands for generative pre-trained transformer. What it does is it continues writing what you gave it. If you ask it a question, it'll answer it. If you ask it to continue what you're writing, it will do that.

BuzzFeed announced that its content machine will soon be assisted by ChatGPT creator, OpenAI, prompting fears of mass layoffs. But BuzzFeed CEO, Jonah Peretti, claimed human content creators will continue to be the main architects of the site's copy as they provide inspired prompts for the algorithms.
