Description

Splendid Medien AG provides various services for the film and television industries in Germany, rest of Europe, and internationally. It operates in two segments, Content and Services. The Content segment acquires licensing rights to feature films, series, documentaries, and other entertainment programs, including approximately 1,800 film titles from various genres, such as action, documentary, horror/fantasy, television (TV) series, comedy, children's and family entertainment, health and fitness/wellness courses, drama, and art-house. It also engages in the production of formats for television stations; online rental and sales comprising video-on-demand (VoD) and electronic sell-through (EST); sale and rental of physical audio-visual media, such as Blu-ray and DVD; and development and production of films for exploitation in cinemas, TV, and on subscription video-on-demand (SVoD) platforms. The Services segment provides dubbing and audio post-production services; and digitization services for VoD and EST marketing on the internet, as well as for Blu-ray and DVD productions. Splendid Medien AG was founded in 1974 and is based in Cologne, Germany.
