Skinner is a portfolio manager at Royce & Associates, LLC, his employer since 2002. Previously Vice President of Institutional Sales at JP Morgan Chase (since 2000). Prior to joining the firm, he co-founded and managed a small cap-focused hedge fund for Accrete Capital, LLC. From 1994 to 2000, he worked for Merrill Lynch/Mercury Asset Mgmt as managing director and senior portfolio manager.
Skinner holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
