Boeing Delivers Fewer Jets. Why the Stock Is Rising Anyway.
Boeing delivered fewer jets in April than Wall Street hoped for. Boeing said Tuesday it shipped 24 jets in April, including 16 737 MAX jets. A year ago in April 2023, Boeing delivered 26 jets, including 17 MAX jets.

Boeing Deliveries Slow In April
Boeing delivered 24 commercial airplanes in April, the lowest number so far this year as the company works through quality issues in the wake of the Alaska Airlines door plug blowout involving a 737 MAX jet. Boeing has delivered 83 MAX jets so far this year, compared to 130 the same period last year. Boeing shares, up 1.5% on the day, are down 30% so far this year.
