Zoom will continue its unlimited free calls for upcoming holidays

On several key holidays running through New Year's. free Zoom calls can go as long as you want.

While we continue to celebrate holidays at a distance to avoid spreading COVID-19, Zoom lifted the 40-minute limit on free calls for Thanksgiving day. Now the company has announced it will continue the trend for several days throughout the rest of December, covering key dates of Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa and New Year’s.

10 AM ET Thursday, Dec. 17, to 6 AM ET Saturday, Dec. 19

10 AM ET Wednesday, Dec. 23, to 6 AM ET Saturday, Dec. 26

10 AM ET on Wednesday, Dec. 30, to 6 AM ET on Saturday, Jan. 2

It’s a nice move for those looking to connect over video chat, and, for one of the biggest winners in 2020, a way to keep people from looking for any alternatives as they turn the page to 2021.
