Good morning.

Markets: Even though Wall St ended its session higher overnight, it took a sharp dive late because of pessimistic comments from the US Federal Reserve vice chair Richard Clarida.

So the Australian share market is expected to open slightly lower, with the SPI200 futures down 0.2 per cent at 8am AEST.

The Australian dollar was buying 64.31 US cents at 8:02am AEST this morning, down from 64.46 US cents at market close on Tuesday.

ME Bank is in hot water over a shifty home loan move. The bank has upset many customers by silently moving their redraw funds into their home loan, making it inaccessible during a time when many need the cash.
