US Bancorp Earnings, Revenue Beat in Q3

Investing.com - US Bancorp reported third quarter earnings that beat analysts' expectations on Wednesday and revenue that topped forecasts.

The firm reported earnings per share of $1.15 on revenue of $5.92B. Analysts polled by Investing.com expected EPS of $1.11 on revenue of $5.82B. That compared to EPS of $1.06 on revenue of $5.7B in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of $1.09 on revenue of $5.82B in the previous quarter.

US Bancorp follows other major Financial sector earnings this month

On Tuesday, JPMorgan reported third quarter EPS of $2.68 on revenue of $30.06B, compared to forecasts of EPS of $2.45 on revenue of $28.46B.
