The world ditched heels and jeans in 2020 and switched to activewear as an essential part of everyone’s stay-at-home wardrobe.
One fashion brand that thrived this year is Adidas. But the brand did more than capitalize on a the need for cozy and comfortable clothing and sneakers. The global sportswear brand produced 18,000 3D-printed face shields per week for U.S. healthcare heroes and also distributed 100,000 masks to medical communities all over the world. Adidas also was one of the biggest give-back brands this year, donating over $3 million to the WHO’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.
