The richest Aussies of 2023 - and how much they are worth - have been revealed, and a number of household names have made the cut.

The 2023 Financial Review Rich List found the 200 richest Aussies had a combined wealth of $563 billion.

Unsurprisingly, mining had strong representation, with the likes of Gina Rinehart, Clive Palmer, Andrew Forrest and Ivan Glasenberg gracing the top 10.

Glasenberg is the largest shareholder and former CEO of Swiss-owned Glencore and has held South-African, Swiss and Australian citizenship.

IT billionaires

But the big names in technology also held on. Atlassian founders Mike Cannon-Brookes and Scott Farquhar, and Canva founders Melanie Perkins and Cliff Obrecht also featured.
