Toddler’s excited reaction to dad coming home has TikTok emotional: ‘Most beautiful thing I have watched all day’

A little boy’s excitement for his dad’s arrival has hearts melting on social media.

TikToker @devinaleese posted a clip of her son, Nixon, outside their home in the driveway. It perfectly captures the excitement and love children have for their parents at that age when a few hours apart can feel like an eternity. No wonder it has a whopping 20 million views. It’s a direct hit to the feels.

“Waiting for your man to come home like,” @devinaleese captioned the video.

At first, in the footage, Nixon was waiting patiently near the doorway. That was until he saw his father’s car approaching from down the street.

He quickly zoomed down the driveway’s path as his dad was pulling up. Then his father honked as if to acknowledge Nixon.

“Da-da!” the excited child exclaims. When his dad got closer in the vehicle, he jumped up and down and burst into a fit of giggles. Nixon just couldn’t contain himself.
