We’ve got a look around at the best battles in the National Hockey League this upcoming Thanksgiving weekend.

Florida at Washington

Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 7 p.m. ET

The Florida Panthers have a tough road test against the Washington Capitals, who are looking to maintain their Metro Division lead. The Panthers seek to keep pace in the Atlantic, where as of Sunday they were neck-and-neck with the Montreal Canadiens for second place.

Denver at Chicago

Friday, Nov. 29 at 4 p.m. ET

The Colorado Avalanche visit the Chicago Blackhawks on Black Friday. Colorado has played well on the road and remains very much in the mix to grab hold of the Central Division lead.

Toronto at Buffalo

Friday, Nov. 29 at 4 p.m. ET

Toronto comes to town against in what should be a fun showdown against the Buffalo Sabres. As of Sunday, the Sabres were maintaining a winning home record (6-3-2). The Maple Leafs were 5-7-0 on the road. Both teams are hoping to surge out of middle-of-the-pack status in the Atlantic Division.

New York at New Jersey

Saturday, Nov. 30 at 1 p.m. ET

Rivalry time! The New York Rangers take on the New Jersey Devils for the latest installation of their cross-river battle. The Devils are in the Metro Division basement, and the Rangers aren’t much better, but sparks can always fly in Newark.

Pittsburgh at St. Louis

Saturday, Nov. 30 at 8 p.m. ET

The high-flying St. Louis Blues host the Pittsburgh Penguins in what should be a fun game for NHL enthusiasts. Pittsburgh will look to build on its Wild Card lead while the Blues look to build on their Central Division lead. The Penguins have struggled on the road, so they will have a difficulty overcoming the Blues’ 7-2-2 home line (as of Sunday).
