The $130,000 Aussie job with thousands of vacancies
High paying jobs for hackers are now available worldwide as banks fight cyber criminals, with Australia needing a high degree of workers in the space
In a recruitment race against relentless cyber gangs, the likes of Commonwealth Bank are seeking the professionals they need for the fight, snapping up many before they finish university.

"Right now we are not producing the capabilities and the cyber security professionals [we need]," said Ben Heyes of the Commonwealth Bank.
"[We are facing] a very sophisticated set of adversities that warrent our respect."

The national average salary in Australia around sits around $80,000 a year, and while mining still has the highest average salary at $131,000, cyber security pays is just behind at $130,000.
You don't need a science degree to get a job in cyber security, as the Commonwealth Bank and the University of NSW want a "army of hackers" and are creating an online course that anyone can use.
