If you’re planning a few local holidays, now could be the time to buy tickets.

Jetstar has launched a massive sale to mark Australia Day and there are some seriously good deals.

Keen travellers could jet down to Melbourne (Avalon) for $37, to Launceston for $48, Ballina Byron for $47 and even Uluru for $109.

“Need another reason to love Australia?” the budget airline asked to announce the sale.

The sale is set to end 28 January, unless tickets sell out prior. And the tickets are one-way only and checked baggage is not included.

Prices also vary depending on when holidaymakers plan on travelling.
