Yahoo Finance Sister's birthday prank on little brother sends TikTok 'into orbit': 'You were stressing him out'
A TikTok user went viral after posting a video of her playing a birthday cake prank on her little brother — and his reactions were priceless.
TikToker Alexa (@__alexxaaa) shared a screen recording of the WhatsApp exchange between the two siblings.
Alexa begins the birthday cake prank by pretending to be at a bakery. She asks her brother via voice messages to choose a birthday cake from the pictures she sends him. The images of the cakes are all quite ugly, and she lies to her brother, saying that each cake has bugs in its ingredients.
“She [the baker] said it has chocolate, vanilla and cockroach,” Alexa says, describing a Minions-themed cake. Alexa acts as if she is speaking directly to the store’s baker throughout the cake prank.
“What do you mean, cockroach?!” Alexa’s brother says. “Cockroach is an animal, not a flavor!”
After a few failed cake suggestions, Alexa’s brother pleads with her to look for a Superman-themed cake from a different store.
“Does she put cockroaches in every cake?” Alexa’s brother asks about the first baker. “Sister, answer me!”
“No, she doesn’t put cockroaches in all of them. She told me in some of them, she puts the spiders, and then in some of them she puts caterpillars,” Alexa says, continuing her cake prank.
Despite his dissatisfaction with the supposed baker’s birthday cake options, Alexa’s little brother is still a polite customer.
“But to be nice, can you give her a little tip, please?” the brother says. “It’s because I feel bad because I’m not gonna buy any of her cakes. But give her like, maybe, $5.”
TikTokers found the interaction wholesome and amusing. Many took to the comments to express how much they adore Alexa’s little brother.
“SUCH A SWEETHEART OMLLLL,” a TikToker commented.
“Him telling u to give her a tip is so cute,” another said.
Others were sent into orbit by the photos that Alexa used for her cake prank.
“PLEASE, THE CAKES ARE SENDING ME INTO ORBIT. WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THEM,” someone wrote.
