The Scrub Daddy, aka the smiley face dish sponge that has been wildly popular since appearing on Shark Tank, is a master at cleaning. The sponge is soft in warm water and coarse in cold water. Once you try it, you’ll never use a regular sponge again. However, the brand also sells a lesser-known Damp Duster that will clean your shelves, windowsills, tables and more.

The Scrub Daddy Damp Duster first went viral back in 2021 after TikTok user @vanesamaro91 posted a video demonstrating how to use it, and it gained 5.7 million views. However, more recently, in 2022, TikToker @lenacleansup posted a video trying the duster for the first time, and it currently has over 7.8 million views. “First impressions: Run and buy one [right now],” they captioned the video.
When another TikTok user asked how the Damp Duster is different from using a cloth, they explained that the grooves help pick up dust, the dust doesn’t fall off, and it easily rinses off with water.
The only problem is that the Scrub Daddy Damp Duster constantly sells out, and because of this, Amazon seems to have jacked up the price from its standard $3.99 to $16.61. Nonetheless, the Damp Duster will last you a very long time. It’s reusable, so you could use it for several months before needing a new one. You can try to find it at your local store for less or snag one on Amazon while you still can.
