Secret hack to get free Wiggles books at Big W

If you can't get to Big W in person, The Wiggles read the books on the store's YouTube channel. (Image: screenshot of Big W video)

Department store Big W is currently giving away books from children's band The Wiggles for free.

The Wiggles, who have been popular with toddlers for three decades, have written books that teach basic skills for everyday activities.

"The books cover everything from how to be safe – at home, in the water, in the car – to understanding feelings and being thoughtful; to the importance of eating a healthy diet, washing your hands and having fun (with books of course!)," says the retailer's website.

Each title is available for one week. The first week saw Splish, Splash, Safety given out, while last week was Buckle Up and Be Safe

This week's book is titled The Wiggles Love Books.

The free book can only be claimed in a physical store. Simply request it from the door greeter at the entrance.

There is a cap of three books per family and there is finite stock in each store. The promotion will run for eight weeks in total.

And if you can't get to a store, The Wiggles read each of the books (as they're released) on the Big W YouTube channel.
