Sacked teacher turns to porn

A teacher in the US who was sacked from her job for being photographed wearing a bikini has landed a new career in pornography.

Tiffany Shepherd, who goes by the stage name Leah Lust, used to teach biology at a Florida school but lost her job after posing for racy pictures.

Since being removed from her position at Port St. Lucie High for moonlighting as a bikini model on chartered fishing boats, Shepherd has been unable to find work.

The 31-year-old has also lost custody of her three children to her ex-husband, according to a Florida news service.

"I'm not particularly proud of it to be honest," she told Page2live.

"I'm an educated woman but I never thought it would come to this."

Shepherd has made five adult movies and claims the industry is very professional.

"Everyone's tested for venereal diseases and AIDS," she wrote on her website.

"They love me because I take care of myself and I don't run out to party with my money."
