Ring in the New Year with these champagne cocktail recipes

‘Tis the season to pop bottles, and New Year’s Eve is prime time for indulging in the bubbly! While champagne, or any other sparkling wine, tastes great on its own, why not amp up the festivities with a special champagne cocktail? For an epic way to ring in the New Year, here are five champagne cocktail recipes. Cheers!

Traveling home for the holidays? Here are 4 things you need to do right now.

1. Black raspberry champagne cocktail

This decadent cocktail looks like something straight out of The Great Gatsby! Begin by adding black raspberry liqueur, vodka, lavender bitters and ice into a pitcher. After stirring, pour the mix into your fanciest coupe glass. Then top it off with champagne or a sparkling alternative. Garnish with an edible flower, and cheers!

2. Cotton candy champagne cocktail

For a sweet way to toast to the New Year, look no further than this cocktail. First, place a piece of cotton candy into a champagne saucer glass rimmed with honey and cotton candy-flavored Pop Rocks. Next, pour champagne into the glass before adding another piece of cotton candy.

3. Pomegranate bourbon champagne cocktail

Pomegranates are a symbol of life and renewal, so what better way to ring in the New Year than with a pomegranate champagne cocktail? Add bourbon, pomegranate juice, orange juice and lemon juice to a shaker. Once shaken, strain the mix into a tumbler, and pour in some champagne. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and enjoy!

4. Glitter champagne cocktail

Add some sparkle to your New Year’s Eve party with this glittery champagne cocktail. Begin by adding grenadine and blue gin into a wine glass rimmed with edible glitter. Next, add champagne. Then sprinkle in some edible glitter, and watch the party in your drink unfold!

5. Champagne punch

This champagne punch tastes just as good on New Year’s Day as it does on New Year’s Eve. In a pitcher, add orange juice, pineapple juice and champagne. Top off the mix with raspberries and several sprigs of rosemary.
