Real-life ‘Barbie Dreamhouse’ for sale in Queensland

The pink-coloured property is looking for a Barbie girl to call it home.

A real-life ‘Barbie Dreamhouse’ has hit the market, giving Aussies the chance to live their very own Barbie-girl dreams.

The pink-coloured home is located in the coastal town of Agnes Water in Queensland and offers direct access to the beach across the road - perfect for a Ken beach-off.

“What girl wouldn't like her own Dream Beach house,” the real estate listing says.

“Catch some waves at the point nearby, watch whales migrate offshore and go dive the southern Great Barrier Reef.

The expansive five-bedroom, three-bathroom home is actually made up of two separate dwellings - an upper house and a self-contained lower house.

The upper house spans across four levels, just like Barbie’s iconic home. The home starts at the top with an impressive master suite, complete with a walk-in wardrobe, ensuite and views spanning the coast and Agnes Point.

The next level features room for a bar, lounge, dining room and kitchen and leads out onto a deck overlooking the coastal views.

The mid-level is the designated “party zone”, the listing says, with a built-in bar and room for a pool table so you can dance the night away.

Lastly, the ground floor comes complete with an office, storeroom, workshop and parking. It also connects to a pool, sundeck and Bali Hut cabana.

“There's so much to love about this house. It is like a boutique hotel that can accommodate a large extended family, a home plus income or the ultimate holiday beach home,” the listing says.
