Princess issues dire warning to Meghan Markle

It’s an exclusive club that sees only a few select members scattered around the world understand what it’s really like, and now one princess has issued a warning to Meghan Markle about what she’ll need to do now she’s royalty.

While Meghan Markle has seemingly eased into life as the Duchess of Sussex following her wedding to Prince Harry in May, one royal has warned this is just the start.

Marie-Chantal, Crown Princess of Greece, 49, has explained how former Suits star Meghan will need to get used to making sacrifices for her new family.

Marie-Chantal, who met her husband Pavlos, Crown Prince of Greece, on a blind date like Meghan and Harry, has revealed that the actress’ previous life will fade away.

“She will have to move away from the world of celebrities, and Hollywood, to quietly join that of other stars: the Royal Family,” Marie-Chantal told French magazine Paris Match.

For Marie-Chantal, who is the daughter of billionaire American investor father Robert Miller, claims royal life can be a minefield – and one that she’ll need support and guidance adjusting to.

“She is lucky to have a modern and sensitive man at her side,” Marie-Chantal told the publication. “Harry will be there to guide her.”

Meghan has already fallen victim to protocol faux pas.

The Duchess was seen quickly adjusting herself during an event at Buckingham Palace when she was sitting next to her husband and the queen.

Expected to sit with a ‘Duchess Slant’ with her legs off to the side, Meghan accidentally crossed her legs – a big no-no when it comes to public appearance.
