Pictures: Rafael Nadal’s $4.2 million yacht is up for auction
If you love tennis and you happen to be in the market for a luxury yacht, then you’re in luck.
Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal has put his luxury motor yacht up for sale - with an eye-watering asking price of €2.6 million (AU$4.2 million).

His 23-metre yacht, named Beethoven after his love of classic musical (not the 1992 movie about the St Bernard puppy with the same name), can host a total of eight guests in its four cabins.
Available for sale via yacht auctioneers Camper and Nicholsons, the yacht’s decor is “contemporary and sophisticated”, and has a “particularly homely feel”.
The cabins include a full-beam master suite, a VIP and two twins, which can be converted between independent berths and a king size bed.
“This adaptable arrangement makes Beethoven well suited to family cruising or for use by groups of friends who wish to share their time aboard.”
Back in 2017, Nadal told Yachting it was love at first sight with the Monte Carlo Yacht 76.
“I saw the MCY 76 almost three years ago when I went to the Cannes boat show,” the tennis player said.
“That was the first time I saw the yacht, and I really paid a lot of attention to it. It was different from the rest of the yachts.”
“After visiting a lot of different yachts, the Monte Carlo Yachts 76, personally for what I need and the kind of life I like to have on board, was the perfect one."
