Peek inside Google's proposed new headquarters

Google released renderings of its proposed new headquarters in Mountain View, California.

Google (NASDAQ: GOOGL) released renderings of a proposed new headquarters in Mountain View, CA on Friday.

Googleplex, the nickname of the proposed project, would include bike and pedestrian paths. Bjarke Ingels, a Danish architect has confirmed to CNBC he is working with Google alongside Heatherwick Studio, a London design firm, which would develop the project.

The tech company is submitting it's proposal to city officials for approval.
