Live sports are making their triumphant return, and that’s reason enough to celebrate. That being said, we can all agree that sports has an incredible way of uniting and inspiring us to perform at the best of our abilities. In line with that mission, on Thursday Oakley dropped a brand new line of sunglasses that are not only visually stunning, but also have a powerful message behind them.

The designer, Meguru Yamaguchi, was tasked with designed the Kokoro Collection and he personally met with designers and Oakley athlete ambassadors to bring his vision to life.

“It was clear when meeting with Team Oakley athletes that a common thread was their passion to push the boundaries of what’s possible, the theme that truly unites them,” the Tokyo-born, Brooklyn-based artist said to Yahoo Sports. “The Kokoro Collection was created in the same spirit. Oakley engineers created a custom-made machine that works by utilizing a special spin technique designed to replicate my style of brushstrokes. Through that, I was able to make this collection and I was blown away that Oakley went to those lengths to bring the collection to life. I describe the finished product as a sculptural art piece that people can take out with them anywhere, anytime. There are no two identical frames, just like my work, which makes this collection truly special.”

Featuring Oakley’s classic silhouettes the Kokoro Collection is equipped with Oakley’s signature Prizm Lens technology, designed to enhance color and contrast so you can see more detail.

The Kokoro Collection is available to shop on Oakley’s site, but we highlighted a few of our favorite looks below. Items are quickly selling out, so shop your favorites before this unique styles sell out.
