NewsBreak: S&P Slips Despite Apple Hype, Boeing Gains

Investing.com – Stocks were still struggling in late trading.

The S&P 500 was off 0.4%. The Dow was down 0.1%, and the Nasdaq Composite was down 0.5% amid weakness among the biggest tech stocks and Starbucks (NASDAQ:SBUX).

Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) was up 0.2% as it announced $4.99-a-month pricing for its Apple TV+ streaming service and a separate game service, along with new iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch models. Walt Disney (NYSE:DIS), Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX), Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN) and other players in video streaming were lower.

Boeing (NYSE:BA) was helping to limit the Dow's losses, rising 2.2%, despite reporting lower aircraft deliveries.
