Najee Harris makes epic hurdle to set up Alabama's second TD against Notre Dame

Alabama running back Najee Harris is really good at hurdling opposing defenders. Really good.

And the hurdle he pulled off against Notre Dame in Friday’s Rose Bowl might have been his best one yet.

Look how high Harris jumped over Notre Dame defensive back Nick McCloud on a 53-yard run in the first quarter.

Here’s the hurdle from another angle. Just marvel at how high Harris gets (unless you’re a Notre Dame fan).

Harris was pushed out of bounds at the Notre Dame 12 after this run and the Tide scored a play later when Mac Jones found Jahleel Billingsley for a TD and a 14-0 lead.

The two-score lead came after just two offensive possessions for Alabama too. The Crimson Tide entered the game as 20-point favorites and, so far, have shown worthy of that designation.

Harris said earlier in the week how he looked up to U.S. soccer player Megan Rapinoe for the stands that she’s taken for equality. After Harris’ comments went viral, Rapinoe publicly said that she was flattered by his praise and asked Harris to hurdle someone for her.

We can all consider that request effusively granted.
