Mom-to-be stages fake photoshoot with husband to make surprise pregnancy announcement

When this mom-to-be found out she was expecting, she came up with the perfect way to tell her husband.

Kazia Straughan went viral on TikTok after a touching video of her pregnancy announcement made the rounds. Straughan managed to stage a fake — or at least misleading — photoshoot with her husband. He thought they were just taking some nice pictures as a couple. But boy was he in for some life-changing photos.

“I took a quick trip back home to Washington to see my family for the holidays,” Straughan said in an earlier video. “When I was there I found out I was pregnant. I have yet to tell my husband. I am going to tell him today. We have a stylist photoshoot. He has no idea. He has no idea.”

The couple stood back to back, holding hands as two photographers snapped their pictures. Just as things couldn’t get more romantic, Straughan whipped out a sign that read: “Straughan Baby 2021.” Then the photographers had the couple turn around.

Her husband looked totally stunned at the news. Luckily, there was a group of photographers there to capture his reaction.

Straughan’s video racked up over 3 million views on TikTok. People loved the way she pulled off the surprise.

“This is the most adorable thing ever,” a user wrote.

“Aww, that’s a cute way of telling him,” another said.

“That is the sweetest reaction! Amazing you could photograph it,” someone added.
