I drink lots of water and get at least seven hours of sleep most nights, but you wouldn’t be able to tell that from my under-eye area. I wear glasses, so they can hide a lot. But when I take them off, the discoloration and dullness are front and center for the world to see.

Like most people, I’m constantly on the hunt for creams and serums that will improve the look of my eyes. I’m not looking for facelift-level results, but a little brightening and softening would be nice. Unfortunately, I have super sensitive eyes, so many products I’ve tried in the past have caused major irritation. Given this, I was reluctant when given the chance to put Eighth Day’s Eye Renewal Cream to the test. Ultimately, however, the dark circles under my eyes convinced me to give it a try.

Eighth Day Eye Renewal Cream Review

I've been using Eighth Day's Eye Renewal Cream for about one month now, and the first thing I'm happy to report is that it doesn't irritate my eyes at all. I started by using just a tiny amount, taking care not to get it anywhere close to the openings of my eyes. Now, there are some nights when I slather it all over my under-eye area, and it never makes my eyes burn or water. That's a huge plus in my book.

Of course, a good eye cream should also deliver visible results, and this one does. Again, it doesn’t give me the eyes I had when I was much younger, but Eighth Day’s Eye Renewal Cream makes the eyes I have now look and feel much dewier and brighter.

The eye cream itself has a thick, rich lotion-like consistency that glides on super smooth and absorbs relatively quickly. I usually apply it before bed. When I wake up, there’s very little puffiness or dullness around my eyes.

I will say that this eye cream is pretty expensive, so I am careful to use only a little each night. That said, even with just a small amount on each eye, it does what it’s supposed to. My under-eye area looks softer and more radiant, so I don’t feel like I have to hide behind my glasses so often. If you’re looking for a new eye cream to add to your nighttime skin care routine, splurge on this one. It’s a winner.
