Yahoo Finance Lil Uzi Vert Just Rocked an Eye-Catching Richard Mille Timepiece on Stage
Lil Uzi Vert’s iced-out jewelry stole the spotlight at his concert on Sunday.
The Philadelphia-born rapper took to the stage at Avondale Brewing Company in Birmingham, Alabama laden with diamond-studded necklaces with large pendants. He paired the bling with a printed t-shirt, an Adidas track jacket, jeans, and two chunky diamond rings. The highlight of the look, however, was a striking Richard Mille.

The vibrant reference, known as the RM 011 “Felipe Massa,” was first spotted on the wrist of the “Just Wanna Rock” singer at the Grammys in February. Launched in 2007, the limited edition was co-designed with legendary Brazilian F1 driver Felipe Masa and takes cues “from the high-tech precision engineering of F1 racing cars,” according to the watchmaker.
Spanning 40 by 50 mm, the sizable case is crafted from 18-karat rose gold and titanium. The skeletonized dial, meanwhile, showcases Arabic numerals, a flyback chronograph, a 60-minute countdown timer, a 12-hour totalizer, and a date and month indicator.
Richard Mille’s in-house automatic movement, caliber RMAC1, features 68 jewels and can be spotted via the open caseback. The back of the watch is also engraved with Felipe Massa’s name just in case you forget the model’s muse. Rounding out the design is a bright yellow strap that looks particularly eye-catching on stage.
The Massa watch was discontinued in 2016, making such examples hard to come by. Fortunately, Richard Mille routinely teams up with motorsport titans for special releases. The watchmaker’s partners include the Formula 1 racing team McLaren Automotive and Ferrari. In fact, it signed a multiyear sponsorship with the Prancing Horse that includes motor racing in Formula 1 as well as WEC endurance programs, Competizioni GT, Ferrari Challenge, Ferrari Driver Academy, and the Esports category.
This isn’t the only Richard Mille Uzi has in his collection, either. The rapper wore the insane 020 Manual Winding Tourbillion Pocket Watch to Beyoncé and Jay-Z‘s annual Roc Nation brunch earlier this year. Nobody tell him about the watchmaker’s speedy new Le Mans-inspired chronograph.
