Co-founder, ScholarMe
Age: 20
Hometown: Baltimore, Maryland

When Nigerian-born American Femi Adebogun was in high school, he had to learn how to apply for financial aid by himself. But while working on his applications on sites like Scholarships.com, he’d often be redirected to other sites, making things even more confusing. To solve this, he, along with two others, later founded ScholarMe, a free college financing platform that streamlines the financial aid application process. In less than three years, the site has grown from a few thousand users to over 100,000.
