I just spent $200 at Everlane — here’s what I’m keeping

Everlane is known for its quality basics and approachable price point. When I realized my closet could use a little refresh, I knew where to go.

After perusing their website for longer than I’d like to admit, I wound up spending close to $200 on a few wardrobe staples that I could see myself wearing all year round.

From a classic white tee and jeans to a waffle knit top and an LBD, keep scrolling to get my honest thoughts on some of Everlane’s most popular styles — and whether or not they were worth the money.

Shop: The Pima Micro-Rib Scoop-Neck Tee, $30

This scoop-neck tee hit all the rights notes for me. It’s a classic white tee that looks good with pretty much everything in my closet. Plus, it’s fitted without being too tight and the neckline is flattering without being too sexy. The Pima tee comes in seven colors so I’d definitely recommend stocking up on this basic!

The Super-Straight Jean, $39 (Orig. $78)

Everlane is famous for its denim, but the fit of these jeans still pleasantly surprised me. Straight jeans can sometimes make me look shapeless, but this pair is perfect. They definitely don’t feel like a skinny jean in disguise. Plus, it’s rare for me to find great denim for under $100 (or even cheaper on sale!), so this was a big win in my book.

Shop: The Organic Cotton Waffle Henley, $38

I really wanted to love this henley because the cornflower blue color was so pretty, but it just didn’t do it for me. I like my henleys to be super soft and on the slouchier side, and the material of this shirt was a little too stiff. Also, the cut under the arms felt awkward. Long story short, I returned this top.

Shop: The Luxe Cotton Side-Slit Tee Dress, $50

If I had to give this dress a grade, it would be a B-. The dress didn’t have any major flaws, it just wasn’t a home-run for me. I really liked the side-silt and found it cute when styled with heels. However, the dress isn’t very tailored and it overwhelmed my shape. In the end, I returned this dress because I wasn’t excited when I looked at it hanging in my closet, which says it all.
