Insider Buying: 3i Group CEO & Executive Director Bought UK£2.8m Of Shares

Those following along with 3i Group plc (LON:III) will no doubt be intrigued by the recent purchase of shares by Simon Borrows, CEO & Executive Director of the company, who spent a stonking UK£2.8m on stock at an average price of UK£29.03. There's no denying a buy of that magnitude suggests conviction in a brighter future, although we do note that proportionally it only increased their holding by 0.6%.

In fact, the recent purchase by Simon Borrows was the biggest purchase of 3i Group shares made by an insider individual in the last twelve months, according to our records.
