Hudson Technologies' (NASDAQ:HDSN) investors will be pleased with their enviable 384% return over the last five years

The last three months have been tough on Hudson Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:HDSN) shareholders, who have seen the share price decline a rather worrying 31%. But over five years returns have been remarkably great. In that time, the share price has soared some 384% higher! So we don't think the recent decline in the share price means its story is a sad one. Of course what matters most is whether the business can improve itself sustainably, thus justifying a higher price.

Now it's worth having a look at the company's fundamentals too, because that will help us determine if the long term shareholder return has matched the performance of the underlying business.

It might be well worthwhile taking a look at our free report on Hudson Technologies' earnings, revenue and cash flow.

A Different Perspective

Hudson Technologies provided a TSR of 5.2% over the last twelve months. But that was short of the market average. It's probably a good sign that the company has an even better long term track record, having provided shareholders with an annual TSR of 37% over five years. Maybe the share price is just taking a breather while the business executes on its growth strategy. It's always interesting to track share price performance over the longer term. But to understand Hudson Technologies better, we need to consider many other factors. Even so, be aware that Hudson Technologies is showing 1 warning sign in our investment analysis , you should know about...
