National retailers and brands are following in Krispy Kreme's footsteps by offering fully vaccinated individuals free items, deals and discounts.
Recently, Budweiser and White Castle joined the growing list of retailers and brands offering freebies and serious deals to those who receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
Customers simply need to display their completed COVID-19 vaccine card to enjoy these benefits and free items in their own neighborhood.
Those who complete their COVID-19 vaccination series will have a shiny new vaccine card to show off to friends and family, and more than that, they'll be able to resume some pre-pandemic activities. Retailers and brands are looking to help vaccinated people celebrate, too, as many businesses are gearing up to welcome returning customers or guests this year.
Krispy Kreme started a bit of a media storm after announcing an offer for a free daily donut to anyone who presents their vaccine card through the end of 2021. While reactions were certainly mixed, many have expressed gratitude for the offer on its own. It's all led to other brands coming up with their own ways to reward those willing and able to work against the spread of COVID-19.
Slowly but surely, more retailers and brands are rolling out fun discounts and offers for free items to those who can display their CDC-issued vaccine card. White Castle is offering a free slice of birthday cake on a stick, a menu item known to the chain's fans as "Dessert On-A-Stick", through the end of May. And Budweiser recently joined Samuel Adams in offering vaccinated individuals a free beer.
Below, we're recapping some of the most exciting offers for freebies and other serious deals for those who have been vaccinated. FYI: While some offers require you to take a vaccine selfie or photo, you should not post a picture of your actual COVID-19 vaccine card, per the BBB and FTC.
