European stocks open higher

Traders at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange where the DAX 30 shed 3.33 percent to 11,109.16 points

Europe's main stock markets rose at the start of trading on Monday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index of top companies up 0.26 percent to 6,758.23 points.

The CAC 40 in Paris climbed 0.17 percent to 5,019.02 points and Frankfurt's DAX 30 won 0.46 percent to 11,955.82 compared with Friday's close.
